Segel told Goldstein they had to pitch him to Ford first, thinking he’d immediately reject him, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had pitched the project, which would pique the interest of other leads. This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while!
The characters have also developed significantly in the first and second episodes, the jokes are perfectly timed and executed, and all the actors do a great job! This is one of the best pilots I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford does an amazing job in his supporting role, and Jason Segal does a great job playing a flawed, damaged character trying to be a better person and father.
I hope the rest is just as good!!
This show made me laugh like I haven’t in a long time. As a psychology student, this show is hilarious, and as a theater student, I can appreciate the brilliance of the writing. I don’t understand the negative reviews, because after just two episodes this is one of my favorite shows.
