Featured AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022) I know this show will get a lot of hate due to the recent up-and-down of Star Wars, so this is an uptick. So far…the first 2 episodes don’t break new ground, or be very original, but that doesn’t matter because it delivers on everything so well.
It gives me heavy Treasure Planet vibes
The cast and their performances are excellent, probably the best costume/set design we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, is good. Again, nothing new, but it’s intriguing, and I’m interested in continuing to watch.
"For Kids," You have been put off to talk
As someone who hasn’t enjoyed the recent Star Wars myself, I was pleasantly surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope everyone who is even slightly interested, or has been upset with the recent shows, will give it a chance.
